Who is eligible to join DFCU Financial?
Everyone is welcome to join DFCU Financial. Our charter includes most Ford Motor Company employees not serviced by another credit union, employees and volunteers of Henry Ford Health System, employees and volunteers of The Henry Ford.

DFCU Financial also has many Select Employee Groups (SEGs) – companies and associations who have asked to be included in our charter. Immediate family members of these individuals are also eligible to join!

Our membership also is open to members of The Henry Ford (formerly Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village).

What exactly do you mean by immediate family member?
Immediate family members include your spouse, children, siblings, parents, grandparents and grandchildren.

Why do you call your patrons members instead of customers?
Becasue DFCU Financial is a cooperative organization. Each member holds a share and is entitled to one vote. Our Board of Directors are members who are elected and serve as non-paid volunteers..

Can I reorder checks online?
Yes. Place your mouse over the word SAVE in the green bar from any page in DFCU OnLine. Click on "Checking and Savings Accounts". From the Checking and Savings Accounts page, click on "Check Reordering" in the blue "Tools that work for you" box.

Do I need to do my business at the branch where I open my account?
You can conduct transactions at any DFCU Financial location.

I own a business or work in the human resources department of a company and would like to offer DFCU Financial's products and services as a benefit to our employees. What do I need to do?

DFCU Financial membership is a free benefit employers can offer to their employees.
