When we paid our 2006 patronage dividend, some of our members were kind enough to share their feedback.  Members called our Member Service Center, spoke with representatives in our branches and even took the time to write letters.  Below is a sample of what members had to say.

My 80-year old father, who has Parkinson’s disease and lives in an assisted living facility, needed new glasses. My father didn’t have vision benefits, but from the money he received from the patronage dividend, he was able to pay for new glasses.  The money couldn’t have come at a better time because my husband had just taken a buyout from Ford.

Seems too good to be true!

It's a very nice gesture and many people need the money. Proper etiquette for receiving a gift is to appropriately thank the person doing the giving and appreciate the kind gesture.

It was a nice surprise and totally unexpected.

Thrilled about the dividend and so happy that we opened a branch in Riverview.

This is something that has never happened to her before and never imagined we would do something as wonderful as this.

Was very pleased with the announcement of the dividend and that is why DFCU Financial is my credit union.

Very happy about dividend even though received the minimum of $50.  Friends are getting much larger amounts because they have loans, mortgages and CD's with us. This year, going to move all finances over to us so there will be a larger dividend next year.

Thank you for the dividend payment, especially during this time when it can help so many people.
