DFCU Financial is closely monitoring the emergence of COVID-19. Our top priority is the safety of our members and staff. 


UPDATE: March 26, 2020

Due to the increased traffic in our drive-thru lanes and at our ATMs, we have enhanced our cleaning protocols. We are working diligently to keep our members and employees safe during this time, but encourage you to use wipes or wear gloves as you see fit. Thank you for your patience.


UPDATE: March 24, 2020

Following Governor Whitmer's shelter-in-place order, we have extended the timeframe during which our branch operations will be specialized until Monday, April 13. As before, all branches except Henry Ford Hospital (open) and UMHS, Downtown Ann Arbor, Greenfield and Oakwood Southfield (all closed) will operate as drive-thru or by appointment only.

In order to best serve you, we will be prioritizing branch appointments for urgent business, while we'll be happy to assist with less urgent business as soon as possible after April 13. Please also remember most services are supported remotely on our website (or app), or can be handled via mail, fax, or SecureMail.

Consistent with the CDC's effort to institute social distancing, DFCU encourages you to use technology such as ATMs, our website, our mobile banking app, and the call center to service your needs. We are trying to limit in-person interactions at the branches whenever possible.

During this time, we strongly encourage you to stay safe by taking advantage of our online and remote services to handle your banking needs:
  • DFCU Online enables you to check your balances, transfer money, pay bills, access statements, even open new accounts. You can enroll in DFCU Online by clicking here.
  • DFCU Online is also available on the go, in the form of our Mobile App. Learn more about it, including where to download it, on this page.
  • Mobile Deposit, available through the app, lets you deposit checks as easily as taking a photo with your smartphone.
  • eSign allows you to close loans from the comfort of your own home.

While the DFCU Financial Board of Directors intends to pay Cash Back every year, and has done so since 2007, Cash Back is not guaranteed and will depend on our financial performance and other factors. Annual Cash Back payments are limited to an aggregate of $25,000 for each tax-reported owner. The IRS requires that Cash Back for an IRA be paid to the same IRA, and that it be open when Cash Back is deposited. Cash Back to Commercial / Business Banking members is subject to additional terms. Anyone who causes DFCU Financial a loss for any reason is not eligible for Cash Back.
