UPDATE: March 26, 2020

WE'VE ENHANCED OUR CLEANING PROTOCOLS
Due to the increased traffic in our drive-thru lanes and at our ATMs, we have enhanced our cleaning protocols. We are working diligently to keep our members and employees safe during this time, but encourage you to use wipes or wear gloves as you see fit. Thank you for your patience.

UPDATE: March 24, 2020

MOST BRANCHES DRIVE-THRU OR APPOINTMENT ONLY UNTIL APRIL 13
Following Governor Whitmer's shelter-in-place order, we have extended the timeframe during which our branch operations will be specialized until Monday, April 13. As before, all branches except Henry Ford Hospital (open) and UMHS, Downtown Ann Arbor, Greenfield and Oakwood Southfield (all closed) will operate as drive-thru or by appointment only.

PRIORITY APPOINTMENTS FOR URGENT BUSINESS
In order to best serve you, we will be prioritizing branch appointments for urgent business, while we'll be happy to assist with less urgent business as soon as possible after April 13. Please also remember most services are supported remotely on our website (or app), or can be handled via mail, fax, or SecureMail.

A few words from our president & CEO, Mark Shobe:

Access to Your Money and Financial Strength

Dear Member:

You likely have observed that many businesses have been required to close. DFCU Financial remains open to serve your needs because banking services are considered “essential” to the American consumer.

DFCU Financial is a 70-year-old company that most recently has benefited from ten years of economic growth and prosperity. As a result, we are in an extremely strong financial position. This enables us to remain open, and means there is no need to be concerned about the safety of, or access to, your money.

Consistent with the CDC's effort to institute social distancing, DFCU encourages you to use technology such as ATMs, our website, our mobile banking app, and the call center to service your needs. We are trying to limit in-person interactions at the branches whenever possible.

As always, we strive to put our members' needs first, and are willing and ready to support those who are facing financial hardship due to illness or loss of employment. We have a dedicated team of professionals ready to speak with you. If you need assistance, please call us at 888.336.2700 and we'll be happy to discuss options.

Thank you for your continued loyalty.

DFCU Financial is closely monitoring the emergence of COVID-19. Our top priority is the safety of our staff and our members. To that end, we will make decisions based on public health guidance from sources such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Institutes of Health (NIH), and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS).

This page will be updated regularly and highlight the latest statements or guidance regarding the COVID-19 situation in terms of our cleaning policies, actions we’re implementing to keep you safe, and changes to any of our branch operations. Please check back often to see the latest news.

During this time, we strongly encourage you to stay safe by taking advantage of our online and remote services to handle your banking needs:

While the effects of this virus are serious, we've seen and learned from others like it before. The DFCU Financial staff has been working tirelessly to keep our facilities clean and teams prepared. We remain dedicated to serving you every day with the same commitment you've come to expect.

Thank you for your continued trust and membership.

While the DFCU Financial Board of Directors intends to pay Cash Back every year, and has done so since 2007, Cash Back is not guaranteed and will depend on our financial performance and other factors. Annual Cash Back payments are limited to an aggregate of $25,000 for each tax-reported owner. The IRS requires that Cash Back for an IRA be paid to the same IRA account, and that it be open when Cash Back is deposited. Cash Back to Business Banking members is subject to additional terms. Anyone who causes DFCU Financial a loss for any reason is not eligible for Cash Back.
