Swipe Out Hunger Success
We’re excited to share the fantastic results of our October Swipe Out Hunger campaign. Keep in mind, this achievement wouldn't have been possible without the steadfast support of you - our members - and our amazing partners.
During the entire month of October, every transaction you made with your DFCU Platinum or debit Mastercard® contributed to our mission to rally our community and fight food insecurity. The results were astounding. Together, we donated a total of $40,000, which was evenly distributed between Feeding Tampa Bay and Gleaners.
Our dedicated team, including our President and CEO Ryan Goldberg and Florida Market President and Chief Commercial Services Officer Jack Barrett, took the initiative further by volunteering and presenting $20,000 checks to both organizations. The hard work continued with our team at Gleaners Community Food Bank, where they packed 452 boxes of food for Thanksgiving, and our Florida team volunteered with food sorting at Feeding Tampa Bay.
It’s not just us, but every individual assisted by these organizations who appreciates your support. Your involvement is making a difference for your neighbors, friends, and fellow community members. Thanks for being a part of this journey!
